The Rolling Stones as verbs
Posted by: Elmo Lewis ()

We used to call a weekend of partying with no sleep as "Keefing Out".

Also, evading giving an answer as "jaggering". Mastered by Mick and many politicians.

What ya got?

(no I didn't, but I will next time)

Not Rolling Stones but Alan Ladd. When I was a kid
there was an expression " spela inte Allan!"
which means "don't play Alan!". It was used when
someone was trying to be cocky!

I knew someone who taught their kid to call taking a dump a "Charlie Watts". When the kid was about 7 years old he saw his first Stones video and cracked up when he found out the drummer was called Charlie Watts. True story.
