Regarding Hampton 81

4 lps? Legit?
Bonus tracks ?
Spelling errors?

It seems the 81 colored vinyl 4 lp set is a nice looking bootleg. The label is from the bootleg group that has released all albums as box sets with lps CDs on colored vinyl

The one schillid posted is an ambitious bootleg.
The one Decca posted is a beautiful official rarity, like the blue LA Forum.
The thread is trying to be about these beautiful official rarities.

I'm quite sure Eagle Rock did some red and orange LPs for Some Girls Live in Texas

Yes, they did. I have that red and orange edition as well as the black and white vinyl for the Checkerboard Lounge LP.

christiano yes you are right keep this topic about official vault rarities

checkerboard lounge is available in WHITE/BLACK + BLACK/BLACK
live in texas is available in RED/ORANGE + BLACK/BLACK

BUT thats known from the first day of release ... for the Hampton 3 LP it took 2 years before someone ( ME ) found this RED vinyl by accident .. today i learned
about the BLUE LA forum

so lets see what happens when collectors open the protection seal and take a look inside ..

That's pretty cool. Congratulations, DECCA61.

So far we know about at least three From the Vault releases on colored vinyl, although there's no pics yet of the pink edition of Marquee. I wonder if Leeds 1982 and Tokyo 1990 (talking about the official releases, of course) were released on some limited colored editions too.

I purchased the Live in Texas 1978 at Rasputin Records in San Francisco 3 years ago and it was the RED & ORANGE one.

So when I received my Light Blue LA Forum 1975 from amazon the last year it surprised me but not so much. So I am more surprised now that I know that it is a limited released.

Hope to see the Pink Marquee.

She comes in colors everywhere.

Bye
Fernando
