The MW60 is being considered the best wireless headphone.

Audiophiles despise Bluetooth headphones for the same reason gourmands despise the Olive Garden: it is so inferior that it doesn’t even merit discussion.

That is hilarious.

I posted in the other thread on the same topic ....

" Very good headphones .... among the best out there for portable devices .... not requiring an additional amplifier. " [www.iorr.org]

The general consensus seems to be that the Master & Dynamic MH-40 headphones are at least in the top 5,if not the top 2 in their category of headphones for portable devices. (32 ohm impedance) Better than Bowers and Wilkins,Bose, and of course, better than Beats to name a few.

The Final Audio Design "Sonorous" models probably are the best, the middle of their line-up and upwards, anyway. [final-audio-design.com] + [final-audio-design.com] .

Then you could get into planar magnetic headphones which sound even better with the right set-up but, they take more amplification to drive them (more amplification than portable devices can provide) and really require an additional dedicated amp / headphone amp.

Sounds very interesting. Thanks a lot for info.
