A while back someone posted info on possibly hiring a bus to get from NY to the Giant's stadium on Sept. 15. I have lost track of the thread, but does anyone know about this possibility or, alternatively, how to get there and back by train or whatever would be running after the concert? Thanks. Sarah

There is a bus from Port Authority 42nd st to the Giants Stadium. In fact many. And they take you back easily to Manhattan after the show.

In 2002 the cost was $7.50 I think. But be prepared to queue afterwards. Still I think the cheapest way to get there (unless you walk !).

I am making my first ever trip to New York (I'm an English girl whose been in California for 26 years!) to see the three shows, MSG, Giants Stadium and Albany. I am sooo excited, but know nothing about getting around there. So any help appreciated! I presume all these buses run late. Sarah

Be patient, I do remember quite a crowd lined up to catch busses after a Giants Stadium show in 1997. I remember thinking I was glad I wasn't in it. With the right attitude however, I bet it could be a great experience, hanging with Stones fans AFTER a show.

Yeah, I'm on an adventure and won't be in any particular hurry!

If you walk from MSG on the post office side (rather than the Pennslyvania hotel side) in the same direction as Times Square (which is on the next street or avenue over) you'll be at the Port Transit Authority in a couple of minutes. You can miss it.

See you in Mustang Harrys before or after MSG. Will be at Giants and Albany also.

Been to NY 4 times before and it's easy to get around.
