So I have this idea of filling a wall in my house with old classic event posters.
Some of them are seriously nice!
I realize that alot can be bought online, but as Im not a collector or anything I really dont care if they are originals or just printed copies.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
How to "print" them to get the best results?
Which paper and so on.

Also, does anyone have links to some highrez posters?

Just google after "poster printing". There're also print-calculators online available, for which print size which resolution is needed and so on.

tomremi..My graphic designer whose repaired and copied a few posters uses paper that can last up to 75 years and the posters can look better than the originals..I store my posters in large clear perspex folders I've designed to them in good condition I don't like to have posters rolled up.

For the "smaller" formats and the lithographs, I bought an Itoya Profolio 18'x24'.
Nice way to keep them flat, and taking less volume than rolls.
