Most teams look decent going in; really. So, it's almost hard to see a clear favourite and I'm not going to go through how all of the teams have done recently.
I like to see Republic of Ireland do well but in 2012; they really were a weak team going in and the weakest team there. Ireland looks a lot better this time.
A lot of these teams have real potential.

My good friend Gary lives in Lyon, I take it there are some matches being played there.
a row has broken out between Belgium and Germany because the German Government is still paying pensions to Nazi collaborators from World War II in Belgium. So, I'm kind of hoping Lyon doesn't host any games with Germany or Belgium.

well, we have the sun, the moon, the Rolling Stones and....english soccer fans !
we remember how some chelsea supporters behaved in the tube of Paris singing joyfully : "we are racist and that's the way we like it ...." while pushing a black man out of the train.
yesterday, we understood that english fans arrived in Marseille and decided to show it by drinking and looking for fight and trouble ! Wonderful !
that must be probably part of the "French bashing" so no big surprise !
here in Paris with friends of mine, we're making bets on which fans are gonna behave the most beautifully : english or german ?

Actually a good prediction BUT, Romania hung with Sweden and France in 2012; Romania often does okay, I predicted 2-1 France... so we'll see. It may well be a draw.
