The inflatable honky tonk women were pretty Spinal Tap...but also pretty cool
Every inflatable after that was very Spinal Tap...and not at all cool

Me thinks this qualifies as 'jumping the shark.
.
the 1975 inflateable penis.
I am pretty sure that my enjoyment of the concert at MSG would have not been ruined if that particular stage extravaganza had been omitted.

Mick fighting inflatable dogs that eventually ATE him during Street Fighting Man (Urban Jungle, 1990) was way worse

The footgae of Mick climbing out of the dog after it had "eaten him", laughonh his head off, was priceless though ;^)

Very very very embarassing.
About that time Keith would often say in interviews that he would like to see how far they could carry this rock n roll thing, make it mature. Hard to make that agree with those stupid dogs or wolves or whatever the **** they were supposed to be. In the list of "embarrassments during live-shows" the only other example coming to mind is Angus Young doing a striptease, showing various layers of his underpants.
Rock for 10 year olds...

The Mexican-themed inflatables on the Voodoo Lounge tour were awesome.

Let's Work was .... soul-crushing, but Solo Mick jumped out of the gate 'jumping the shark' (or motorcycles)
What about the Running Out of Luck full-length extravaganza?
Yikes. Mick seemed so desperate post-Tattoo You, something he had never seemed before.
At least the Fonz had Pinky Tuscadero, and she was kind of cool.
Mick was just adrift.

Re: 'Let's work.'
Poor Mick. His friend David Bowie was putting out similar dreck like 'Let's Dance' and 'China Girl' and going to the top of the charts.

Let's Work, for sure.

As far as the Stones go... DIRTY WORK.

And don't forget Suzi Quatro as Leather!

Suzi Quatro is terrific! She´s a true legend. In the 70s there was hardly a teenage room without her world-famous poster on the wall, Suzi all dressed in black leather. Legendary Stuff indeed.

Let's Work is Mick revisiting the groove of Si Si Je Suis Un Rock Star with a slight world beat influence and similarly naive lyrics. Who do you think did a better job at making a single in this style? Bill or Mick?

When they made "Where The Boys Go", they made themselves a laughing-stock, at least for a while. It's cartoon-rock and a full-blown parody of their own style.
