Born on this date in 1932. My father loved Johnny Cash's music. He'd crank up Johnny on the hi-fi on Saturday afternoon as he got himself ready to go out honky tonkin'. Mom wasn't allowed to go with him. Dad knew well the meaning of Sunday Morning Coming Down. But, I digress. Here's a hit of vintage JC. Crank it up and sing along.

Happy Birthday Johnny! An amazing singer, on of a kind. If I could see one act I haven't had a chance to see, it would definitely be Johnny. Also a man I would really love to talk to. I have nothing but great respect for him.
