On the next link you can see a news item on the beginning of the tour and the stage. I'm sure the drumkit and Charlie are gonna move forward to the front of the stage somewhere during the show. See the white lines on the stage, that's the area where the drumkit is gonna be during one or more songs, and where Mick is not allowed in at that time. Or am I just losing it, and be carried away by my enthousiasm of the beginning of the tour and the greatness of the stage ? If so, sorry guys, I'm just a fan that can't wait untill sunday to hear the news about the show, the stage and the setlist.
@#$%& hell! The report says that city officals will have the power to enter the park and tell the Stones to turn it down if the neighborhood residents complain! Madness!
Yes! i saw that TV clip before and i didn't realise. You must be right and while Charlie will be front stage the others or Mick at least will be on the "B-stage" which is not a B-stage like the last tour but just a cat-walk and some squares to move around. The "B-stage" isn't enough large and too close to the "holy infield" to accept a drum kit. We'll know very soon. It's gonna be "enaurme"
ChrisM - can you believe that? The Stones have never been too loud in a stadium in all the shows I've been to...if they have to turn it down at these shows, I'm just glad I won't be there - that would really bum me out. The Stones shoulda done more homework, I think, before booking these shows....
Looking at this video I'm sure Charlie will be up front. The drumkit is nearer to the front of the stage than on the video on my first link. So finally, people in the first rows get to see more of Charlie than just his scalp. If the rumours are true about the stage lifting, and this Charlie-thing is happening too, it's gonna be a real cool experience. But ofcourse, the stage will be nothing without the Stones and their incredible music !
