Well,it's nearly upon us, the release of The Rolling Stones latest single Streets of Love/Rough Justice [22 8 05 here in the uk]...I for one will be rushing down to my local store to purchase a few [I will give the spare ones to people for birthday presents!]
..Does anybody know if they are gonna put any of those strange Techno/Dance mixes on it. I seem to remember Love is strong had about 6 versions of the song on the cd and there were 2 diferent cd singles of it as well. Others, Anybody seen my baby, Saint of me, Out of contol had different mixes too?

Some of them I like - Winning Ugly, One Hit, the 2 Harlem Shuffles, Undercover / Feel On Baby(a KILLER a/b 12 inch), Miss You - but usually the ones I like use the original track as basis for new mix. ASlso like the Scott Litt mix of "I Go Wild" which seems likely to be an alternate mix (slightly longer) not used for VL.

You Got Me Rocking(Perfecto mix) is a killer/funny IMO and Mixed Emotion(Chris Kimsey`s 12") & Too Much Blood "main vocal" (8:43) ain`t that bad !
If I remember right Miss You was their very first maxi , I got it in pink vinyl ! Ain`t that kinky ?

"New Rock" mix of "Don't Stop"
had an edgier mix to the guitars,
which I actually preferred.
Canuck 12 in. Winning Ugly,
and the Miss You Ep versions
were also better than the lp
trax. But by and large I'd
agree, usually I don't like
the "dance/techno" mixes...........

I would agree for the most part about the remixes but, there are some that I'm glad they released. In addition to the ones previously mentioned, there is one good remix of Out Of Control and one of Saint Of Me.There are so many that I can't remember off the top of my head which exact remixes I'm thinking of.
