That is a good idea cafaro. About the 6 tunes circulated maybe being the ones played live.
And what is this about taking Bon Jovi morons seriously? They are idiots from Jersey. They fit there perfectly. Every one of their tunes is idetical. One can never tell them apart. There's fast ones and there's slow ones. That's about it. But you can go into any given chorus from any given verse. And that Sambora guy? Forget it...This is just a personal dig I have I know, but I so hate these wellfed US Metal Rollers in their supertight clothes. They go and play one song at a show and come off with a big towel around the neck.
I actually even lost some respect for Slash after seeing him in Ronnie's DVD "Far East Man'> Anyone who allows an overbearing obnoxious gilrfirend like that into the dressing room and lets her make a turban out of a towel on my head after a gig...What is happening to all my rockers?
You know, say what you will about Keith. Mistakes, bunky knuckles, lazy guitar solos, he hits Ronnie too much. But at least he doesn't run around with a damn towel on his head after a gig.

Nice review Gazza. I agree about BtB & Tattoo You & even, more controversially I suspect, about 'Continental Drift' being the best song for 25 years (I'd say 31 actually). I thought you were a little harsh on the lyrics of Neocon. Ok, the atom bomb references are clumsy but lines like:

"You parade around in costume,
Expecting to be believed
But as the body bags stack up,
We believe we've been deceived"

are pretty strong & to the point. Why pussyfoot around the issues or lose impact with joe public by smothering them in complexity and ambivalence?

The review is making me even hungrier for the album. Strangely I don't seem to mind the waiting this time, I'm enjoying the growing thrill of anticipation.
