Well, the venue will officially be opened at 6:30, but you can arrive early if you want to be one of the person persons to enter at 6:30

Well, i came to Mexico in great spirits. Picked up my tickets at Liverpool outlet in the Zocolo district. Went to the Palace to see the Diego Rivera murals and sight see. Ended up getting pick pocketed in a crowd, and had my tickets stolen. Spent the entire day going back and forth to foro de sol, ticketmaster, the poiice station and got an official report filed and yet Ticketmaster won't cancel the stolen tickets (Plat 12) abd reissue, so here i am for 9 days, no tickets and am utterly depressed. In the US, they'd just cancel the bar code and reissue, but here? I'm treated like dirt. Really bummed out, my vacation is ruined.

Ive never been treared so rudely anywhere in the world, its sad....

Customer service does not exist in Mexico, and it is not only Tickemaster-MX but virtually any and all companies and services in the republic. Likewise the general population is incredibly inconsiderate to all except their own "families". This is the Mexican way.

If I were you I would try contacting Ticketmaster-USA. If that did not work I would try to have the police pick up who ever is sitting in your seats on the day of the concert, if you know your seat numbers. But then again the Mexican customer service rule (mentioned above) would probably even apply to the Mexican Police.

I would also try contacting my credit card company and telling them your story to see if you could be reimbursed. It's a long shot but worth a try.

You can also catch a bus to Puerto Escondido and spend several days there. If so check out "The Split Coconut" for local live music.

Woz, I sent the case to customer service of OCESA, who is the company in charge of the event

For the conference of Wednesday, we're going to have andee/angee and people from OCESA talking about on-line communities and the Stones at Universidad Iberoamericana, so by Monday, if I have not listened from CS I will ask him for help.

I bought another pair of tickets in the newly added plata 38. After a good nights sleep we went out to the pyramids today and had a wonderful time. Marcy and I are currently enjoying margaritas on the roof of the Grand Hotel de Ciudad. Scanned the police report, ticket receipt etc to the address I got from the manager at Liverpool, but no response yet. Anyway, I'm not letting my vacation get ruined! I've traveled extensively and lived through New York in the 70s and never git pick pocketed....anyway, nobody got hurt which is most important!

If someone can email me the details regarding the gathering Monday I would be most grateful!!
