I started this thread and I was being slightly tongue in cheek about ER. But the bigger point I was trying to make - that they haven't been musically adventurous in years and a lot of stuff post 1972 sounds over produced and over thought - is one that several posts seem to concur with. Can't help but think that if Ronnie was a multi instrumentalist like Brian, they could have done some much more tasty stuff.
