OT: Roger Waters "Amused to Death" Reissue

Just got the blu-ray audio yesterday. Outstanding! I liked the record when it first came out but hadn't listened to it in years. It is holding up real well, indeed. Helps that Jeff Beck is on a big chunk of it & absolutely shredding!smoking smiley

great news , i love this album by Roger Waters .Such a great songwriter and storyteller. one of my all time favorite artist !!!!!! (Mr. Pink himself)

Is it time he released a new album of new material?
On the Desert Island Discs programme he said he was writing more prolifically than
ever, not much evidence?
Mind you Mick gives out the same quote!

It is a fantastic album indeed, Roger´s best, imho. But I can see no reason for remastering an already fantastic sounding album. Dont think there is much to be improved soundwise. Who knows, maybe the cut the DR and brickwalled this masterpiece... Most remastered versions are not really an improvement. So I dont think I will buy this new version. I think it is only a cheap way for Roger to make some money.

The surround mix is really good. Worth the price of admission.
