Bill Clinton, Hong Kong Nov 9th 2003. Spoke with him too, nice guy, and really friendly with us ladies... He's a true fan. He also turned up at Ronnie's art show opening in Hong Kong.
Paris 1995, the race track: I sat next to Youssou N'Dour and Neneh Cherry in the VIP-section with tons of French celebs. (None of whom I recognized) And Lance Armstrong MSG, Jan 18th 2003. Former prime minister Jens Stoltenberg, Valle Hovin, Oslo August 1998. ABBA-singer Agnetha Fältskog, Cirkus, Stockholm July 2003. And so on...

One subtext to the 2004 U.S. presidential election was the successful painting of George Bush as a regular Joe/son of the soil/down-to-earth, homespun-wisdom texan kind of guy, in contrast with a caricature of Kerry as an effete/too-intellectual/wine-drinking snob.

The reality, of course, is that neither of these two individuals are close to being working stiffs. They were both born into wealth, and neither likely spends too much time among the "great unwashed" unless it's for a photo-op.

Or in Kerry's case -- going to a Stones show!

Hope that helps.

An absolutely gorgeous Liz Hurley and a not so gorgeous Bob Geldof at Shepherds Bush, along with all of the band's wifes, most ex-wives (Jerry, Anita etc) and a few of their kids. This girl came out during Sheryl Crow's set, stood beside me and my wife and I wondered where I knew her from. Itw as only afterwards it dawned on me it was Keith's daughter Angela.

Johnny Hallyday at Longchamps in Paris in 1995.

Gazza at the Ronnie and Fiends show. Ok, perhaps that doesn't count - because it was not a real Stones show. But still grinning smiley

Oh, and the Austrian ski team in Imst...

Jack Nicholson is a true fan. He attend shows as often as he can, and he comes for the music and not just to be seen. I heard he was dancing between the seats at Dodger Stadium 1997. And he has been seen many other places.

We were accross from JFK jr,at Giants Stadium in 94'.He was in a roped off section in front of the sound board,he was really into the show.I think my wife was more thrilled by him, than by the Stones. I also saw James Taylor seated on the ledge right behind me,at Roseland. He seemed to be into the Stones, too.

Swedish crown princess Victoria and her boyfriend attended the show at the Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden in 2003. Seems like her father , the king, has had a great influence on her musical preferences.

The royale family in Europe is invited to whatever....

It doesn't matter, if it is music, sports or ....... - it doesn't even matter, if they like it or not or if they understand it or not - somehow a snob thing....

I don't like the royal thing here in Europe - it is getting more and more stupid / ridiculous.....

They should rather have a president .... at least the peolpe then could choose the person and kick him / her out after 4 years, if he / she is stupid......

I read somewhere KISS went to a Japan Stones show.
And then The Stones went to KISS Japan show a couple days later.
Something about The Stones used some of KISS gear or somethin.
I believe Gene Simmons said it in an interview about Budakon

Did this really happen?

As far back as Kiss goes they always claimed the Stones were their first love.
