I really liked Steven Wright's "I Have A Pony". I laughed til I hurt! Also, Steve Martin's "Let's Get Small" was pretty good. But my dad also had stuff by Jonathan Winters and a "bootleg" album of Martin and Lewis, recording commercials. They were outtakes, with lots of profanity. This was back in the late '50's, so it was scandalous!

On youtube you can find a great video of Johnny Carson with Bob Hope and Dean Martin as guests, but it was George Gobel who stole the show. Very, very funny!

Old Eddie Murphy. Ice Cream Man was great.

And another gem from Peter Cook and Dudley Moore alias Derek And Clive.

What's the worst job you ever 'ad? It was pulling lobsters out of Jane Mansfield's ar sehole. Got to be heard to be believed.

Those with a puritanical outlook please avoid.

Most any Dr. Demento compilation. cool smiley

Victor Borge is also very good, mixing classical/piano music with comedy. I just picked up Live (!) this past weekend, and it's an amazing introduction to him!

Thanks for the tip ... just found it on YouTube and it's great.

Steven has a Stones joke in there ...

The Stones—I love the Stones. I can't believe they're still doing it after all these years. I watch 'em whenever I can.

... Fred and Barney ...
