Bill Bernstein photographed Paul McCartney and Keith Richards for the cover of the latest UNCUT Magazine (UK). Bernstein also took photos that appear in the article.

Paul and Keith got together earlier this year when they discovered they where staying at the same resort in the Caribbean.

The 100th Issue Collector's Edition of UNCUT will be on newsstands this month in the UK.

We all need someone we can lean on...

What a great photo! There are 2 guys from 2 distinctly different bands whose immeasurable influence on rock music is still felt today. Truly 2 giants! I will have the pleasure of seeing them both perform in one week, the Stones on Oct. 30 and Macca Nov. 3.

Isn't Paul McCartney older than Keith?

I absoloustley HATE to say it, but I think Macca looks a hell of a lot better than Keith. I think Macca looks pretty awful close up with his dyed hair, but Keith looks decrepid to me in this photo. I'm sure he's not a lager drinker, but it looks like the riffmaster has a bit of a beer belly!

How I wish the two of them tried working together.But that's just a fantasy.

I think Paul is in better shape and health than The Stones.His concerts are longer and he seems to have a great amount of energy.Hope he'll tour Europe again next year.I saw him in 2003.That was an amazing tour.

Lets wait another year.----maybe "the rolling stones" and "mc.cartney" will be on one stage together. There are rumours....

That picture is touching! Still alive and well after all these years. Anyone who says they don't look so hot must not have much contact with people over 60, because they look great.

i ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE PICTURES LIKE THAT. MAYBE MICK AND PAUL. HOW ABOUT PETE ROGER AND THE STONES.

did u no back in 02 in the USA , the Stones, the Who,, & McCartney all did a concert on the same night,,,,,WOW ,talk about being in 3 places @ once..that night i saw the who...

It's too bad that Mick wasn't there too. Keith and Paul look like the old couple.

I just bought the Uncut magazine - and in my opinion the photo on the front is great but,,,, turn over and on page 3 there is a GREAT photo of Keith and Paul literally leaning on each other, and on the 100 greatest icons page, there is another great shot of the two of them. I have to say, this issue has really touched me. My two heroes on one page. I love 'em both!!
