When I got REWIND on CD in 1986 I was floored - what IS that? I never heard it on the vinyl album.

It's not cowbell but it's a dingding, so:
I dearly love Charlie's "last round, gentlemen!" signal on Dead Flowers

Someone should propose a national worldwide International Cowbell Day
and nominate Christopher Walken aka Bruce Dickenson to be the first leader.

Someone should also propose this day follow worldwide "Talk like a Pirate day"

MOOOOOOOOOre COWBELL!!

The single bell ring at 1:30 in Anybody Seen My Baby I remembered as a cowbell, but listening to it just now, it lingers too long.

DOOM AND GLOOM radio edit only has a cowbell after Ronnie's solo, faint but continuous to the end.
