No point. No money to be had by them, or very little. Lineup is terrible aside from the Stones. No draw.

The difference between a periscope feed and a PPV professionally shot film is night and day. Thankfully they seem to be getting enough great performances this tour I am starting to think a DVD will be forthcoming which is basically the best of the summer shows.

But you are right PPV is becoming somewhat obsolete with all the amateur videographers filming every performance.

Is it July 4th? Then it's not too late.

Come on. WHACK.

Nothing is too late on July 4th...Those Brits weren't expecting to lose a few colonies that day, so anything is possible... winking smiley

It would have been great with one.
A PPV you can sit back and enjoy in your couch with the stereo system pumping out the music loud in great quality.
A Periscope feed would sound like pure noise in a stereo system. Instead you now have to sit with headphones on, trying to find new feeds every other minute. They're not even comparable IMO.

They would be going up against the Grateful Dead. There is a PPV being offered this weekend for the shows the reformed Grateful Dead will be performing in Chicago this weekend. The commercial caught my attention yesterday as they were billing the Grateful Dead as the "Greatest Rock 'n Roll Band".

4 July? Why would they? They're not U.S. citizens, are they?
