I suppose they're are friends who after being a whole year on tour need three years wihout knowin anything about the other. Kind of weekend and your workmates: you see them five days and you need two days without them. In this case, they see each other one whole year and then spend three years away.

It's often said, Charlie also. They might fight and seem to hate each other guts but dare one try to come in between, they hit a wall. Like many old married couples but this one can't even get divorced (quote Keith). They're definetely more than the sum of its parts. And they do care for each other.

I bought a little book yesterday at the `free record shop` about Jagger and Richards, it called Keith and Mick veertig jaar bewogen vriendschap. And it`s written by Flip Vuijsje, mabey the answer is in that book
