I wonder if the floor could be a nod to Oasis' Definitely Maybe?

I'd also like to point out -- in as enlightened and sensitive a way as possible -- that there's a hot topless chick right in the middle of the photo.

Are you SURE its a chick?

I was wondering whether it's possibly a nod in the direction of Blind Faith's album?

I'll totally buy White Room - Cream, not so sure about the others. Hope to never see Turbonegro wearing their denim like that.

But I do believe the black table, bottle on the windowsill and 4 legged stool probably have some meaning. Cristiano?

peace

Yes, that four legged stool has probably some meaning, but until now I can't see from what record could that be.

It definitely means something but all I could really come up with is another Bowie reference.

btw...vis-à-vis album cover art...keep your eyes out for this film, Taken By Storm

Quote

"For over forty years, Storm Thorgerson has been designing record covers eschewing computer manipulation in favor of building massive sets and tableaus and ‘doing it for real’ deliriously and relentlessly confounded expectations of the relation of images and music. With intimate interviews and footage of Thorgerson reflecting on his inspiration and idiosyncratic creative process, TAKEN BY STORM explores technology and culture, hyperrealism and the everyday and the role of the record sleeve at the intersection of art and commerce."

I saw its premiere -- it has super good interviews with Storm, Peter Gabriel, David Gilmour, Steve Miller, Alan Parsons, Robert Plant, etc, and director Roddy Bogawa is a wonderful guy.

Fabulous swiss! Looks like a great film. His images are as much a part of my music experience as the music. Kind of a shame how this art form is being lost in the day of digital downloads and streaming. That strong connection between the art and the music seems sadly diluted and the new music experience less rich because of it. Thanks for the heads up.

peace

What about her face makeup? A reference to a comic hero seems out ouf place.

The woman's face is almost, almost young Debbie harry. Great picture and would be good to have framed.
