Sorry, I don't understand, does this mean there could be more shows in Canada besides Quebec?

Festival D'ete De Quebec website

Lineup is announced April 8th at noon.

Festival presale is April 9th at noon.

Festival ticket sale is April 11th at noon.

BV, will tickets for Quebec show be sold by "Festival D'ete Quebec"? Or, will they be sold (including pre-sale via Amex) like the rest of the shows? Thanks a lot from the right hand coast of Canada?

So far Quebec City is the best bet for Canada,. We will see soon.

Quebec City is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in Canada. That said, Le Festival will be a NIGHTMARE for Stones' fans. Many days; many different bands; much chaos.

Too bad the kibosh was put on the Toronto thread.

Is the Festival totally General Admission or in the past for say,Paul McCartney, has it been reserved seating?

Hoping it's confirmed tomorrow, I already have my hotel, and Porter is running a seat sale that ends tomorrow.

I know the date lands in the middle of the festival.. but I'm wondering if there is any chance a Stones gig would be a non-festival event?? Similar to the AC/DC show they currently have advertised up on their site... That would be nice.

Hilton, Quebec listed on the Festival site. Less than 1km from likely venue.

For Le Festival you'll be able to get tickets.

NOTE: I've been using two different ways of saying it - I've simply said tickets and I've also said "tickets" for one location.

Oh, I said NIGHTMARE because of my experience at Toronto's SARS. MANY Stones' fans didn't want to wade through Justin Timberlake et al. That's all I meant. But for Le Festival, fans will (well, should be) able to get tickets.

visa and immigration routine as in the US? really wanna go to Canada!

Still debating between doing this festival and Pittsburgh... I can do only one.
Would it be realistic to get good tickets after April 12th? I will be in Cuba without reliable internet during the presale but think that this show might be more special than the Pittsburgh show.
Being in the middle of the week doesn't help either! Logistically Pittsburgh looks easier for me - help me settle this

I speak both and actually live in Quebec, about a five hour drive from Quebec City though.

This has the potential of being the concert of the tour...

It will be dependent on how they work the ticketing tho..
(buy pass for whole festival?..any reserved options...? etc.)

Please come to Québec City, this is a beautiful city. Easy to speak english with the friendly people.

Being from Toronto this is my excuse to finally make that road trip to Atlantic Canada. At least we can use our own devalued money as compared to a Buffalo trip!

Although we would love to have you for a visit Quebec City is about as far from Atlantic Canada as Boston is Unless of course you plan to continue your journey after concert in which case bring it.

LOL...Yeah, I knew that. I've been there before. My excuse to come back to a great city....and keep on going!

I am so tempted by this. If the regular GA tickets get me to the front of stage I will make this work even though I have to be in Calgary for work the day after. This might be the last show they'll do in North America for a while!

Same day I got the Quebec date I booked my hotel there. Just can't wait to get to Quebec. It is a beautiful city and I am ready for the Stones in Quebec.

I am with BV booked a hotel a few weeks back whenever the date was posted and reserved a week just in case. This will be an awesome venue, show and if you look at the festival facebook page there is all kinds of excitement for this one...Quebec LOVES The STones

I *think* it means that one must have a wristband in order to obtain tickets at a later time. But really......I could be wrong on that one.

Just get the wristband and you'll be IN! OK?
