no alcohol is a bummer... i wonder if the boys know we can't even bring alcohol in... maybe keith will pass out very large jugs of jack.. maybe he could get away with it

Beautiful poster.

How wonderful that Charlie's granddaughter is designing some of the best posters on this tour. I'm sure the former graphic designer (he worked at an ad agency before becoming a full-time musician) is very proud.

May daughters both go to UNC, but I love the poster, and I think we're all just gonna have to bite the bullet and buy the Wolfpack themed event t-shirts.

Alcohol sales is sort of a combination of NC law and NCSU policy. They certainly sell beer at the Durham Bulls stadium, and they sell beer and liquor at the PNC arena where NC State plays basketball (but only during concerts and Hurricanes games, not college basketball). Duke had a beer garden during the Stones show at Wallace Wade stadium 10 years ago, and if memory serves, we were even allowed to bring the beers into the stadium with us (I guess the rule was they couldn't sell it in the stadium? Silly). Anyway, Carter-Finley has been the site of numerous concerts since the late 70s, and they've never served alcohol. It is what it is.

It doesn't look like they are selling a poster for Raleigh. Nothing on the website. Shame. I love it. I hope they have a shirt like it but it doesn't look like it either as I really don't like the Wolfpack one. I don't mind the Wolfpack, just don't feel it is much of a design with the tongue just plastered over the wolf. Couldn't they have been a bit more creative?

The website is usually updated with the litho and corresponding shirt on the day of the show. I would expect the full moon design to be available. As far as creativity on the wolf design, it's up to NC State's licensing on what they will allow, and they are very specific in what they will and won't allow.

Well, if they didn't allow anything else, they have a lame marketing department when other venues (such as Steelers) had such great designs. It's a money maker, for sure, they are missing out on.

Actually Scott Stadium did have beer- but it was only in a special section.
I managed to get tickets for one of the on-stage boxes for that show. After checking in and getting wristbands and laminates we had to stay in a separate location until just before the Stones came on. There was a cash bar with wine and beer. They wouldn't let us go outside to watch Trey Anastasio (!) we had to watch his set on a TV in the holding area.
I guess I'll be drinking in the parking lot like everyone else for this show.
