I only know Orlando from taking the kids there from the UK years ago - is the downtown area worth staying close to for bars/restaurants? I hate Disney-type resort hotels... thanks

Yes it is. It is a bit dangerous though, you might not want to be alone. Definitely not for the kids and plenty of drunk college aged kids running around.

It is- but I wouldn't recommend staying there. I live in Orlando.

lol Unless you were raised in a glass bubble, Orlando is not a dangerous place. I live there now and grew up in NYC so I think I know the difference.

Who are you kidding? They asked about going to downtown Orlando at night. When's the last time you've been there on a Saturday night? I was there a few weeks ago and it reminded me of Times Square in the '70s and '80s. Drugs, crowds, street preachers, and very little police presence.

The closest places I'd recommend are in the downtown area about 2 miles away. Days Inn downtown isn't really in downtown.

hi demand on this or what? pulling nothing from eithe amex or amex prefered. was offerd nosebleeds earlier in the day, but tossed them back. I see the VIP and the premium are the highest out of all the shows Im trying to get

Just scored F11 Row B at official price thru Ticketmaster on the Amex pre-sale

Overall I think TM sucks on this one - impossible to get any on-line response - Platinum tickets (aka official touting/scalping) extortionate prices (and more that Stubhub!)

But now I have floor seats for Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville and Pittsburgh! looking forwards to a great tour and some better weather than the UK

all I see is $354 to $3800 tickets

SecF row J to Orlando.$427 Now I have Orlando and Nashville still need ATL and Raliegh. Seems like Pandora has some pretty decent seats.

got F12 row Y back of the floor for $170, I'd rather be closer, but not for $200 more
