30 years ago today was my first show--the first night of their July 9-13 five night stand at the LA Forum.

A few months prior I had bought my tickets the morning they went on sale at the Forum. There were different windows for each day. The last window I went to was for the 9th. I only had enough money left for one. That was my lucky break. The lady sold me a ticket that was the center of the third row!

The way the "petals" of the indoor TOTA stage opened up, it was more like a first row seat!

That night I was exactly one month away from my 17th birthday. If you had told me then that 30 years later the Stones would be on tour, I would have said you were crazy!

Happy Birthday. Where are you going to see them now???? In 1968, I picked up my brother's "Between the Buttons" album and thought these guys will go a long way. I was eight years old. There is something with these guys that no one can explain.

Well...impossible to corner many boots titles because they seem to change names while we sleep. But the title All Meat Music was originally used for the Auckland - Sydney 1973 concerts. Were as 1975-LA shows usually carry that in title....

LA Fog
1975 Tour of The Americas
1975 Nervous Breakdown
LA COnnection
LA Friday 1975...etc etc etc

Right you are, Rockman--as a matter of fact, this inspired me to pull out that CD and listen to it again. This particular performance is certainly a highlight of Ronnie's first tour with the band, and perhaps of his entire 30 year tenure.

YCAGWYW is certainly one of those 70s "wave your ciagrette lighter in the air" moments LOL.

Loog, a month before my 17th birthday I also saw the Stones for the first time, June 26th 1975 - Madison Square Garden. Two coasts-same story. I also never dreamed we's still be at it. Enjoy.

I listened to the LA Forum show yesterday, this has go to be one of the best sounding of all the bootlegs, and great performance.

happy 30th to all here who went to any of these shows...what a friggin' week that was! i read a piece on that tour in vanity fair a few years ago and what really made me laugh was a bit about the shows at madison square garden....as the chinese dragons and dancers started winding there way through the crowd somebody backstage asked "what's going on?" and somebody else replied "they're showing bianca to her seat"...i've always loved that line...again happy 30th to all and where the hell DOES the time go?
