Saw the skull head vodka in a bar yesterday, so I tried it. Bottle is nice, but the vodka wasn't anything special. Bottle is made in Trezzano, Italy, a couple of KM from where I live!

I will leave the Vodka for the Mrs, even thou i will give it a try, rude not to.

I did think the vodka got good reports thou.

I will fill it back up with rum once the vodka is finished.

For any USA residents interested, there is en ebay seller in Florida selling the complete package for a Buy It Now price of $55, but the skull bottle is empty to keep shipping costs down. yeah that's the reason.

I picked up the package here in the US (at a New Hampshire State Liquor store) a month or so ago, on sale for $50. It's a nice package - haven't listened to the CD yet, or opened the vodka. Cool tongue bottle stopper included. If you can find it for short money, I'd say it's worth getting.

It's a Dan Aykroyd creation...........in case this wasn't mentioned already.

That would be worth looking at, for tht price. I would not be bothered about the vodka.

It does seem strange in this day and age that there are still certain things that are hard to obtain, i have to rely on the sister in law < B.A stewardess, aplogies paul > to get me captains morgan white rum from either certain parts of the USA or from Canada.

I bought this about a year ago at Bevmo on sale at about $65.
The vodka sucks, but it looks really cool when I fill it with some fine Kentucky Bourbon.
And as seen in the pic above with Dan Aykroyd it is indeed a nice presentation, but even at $65 still a bit overpriced imo.

I thought the vodka was great, but maybe over-indulgence affected my thinking.

When it was empty, I filled it with cheap vodka and added some blue food-coloring, and now it looks great on the shelf alongside all my ships-in-bottles. An additional piratical effect, if you will. Or maybe that's still the vodka talking.

Pretty cool set, though I'm not a Vodka drinker. Nice materials and well constructed. That's a great idea Aquamarine. Guess that's where you get your name?

Don't own the Stones version but have drank it several times and the vodka is excellent but is overpriced compared to other premium Vodka's IMHO.
