2015 the last time?

Okay it's just us hard core fans here. Who thinks this is the last US tour?
Honestly, I don't know. They never cease to amaze me. I've been a hardcore fan since 73 or 74. To me the odds say yes but the stones history and work ethic says
no. I would rather go against the odds and say no - so I will say no.

Every leg of this tour could be the last one (see Bobby) so enjoy while we can.

Yes, this is the last tour.
And the next one...

and the next...
and the next...
etc.

I really truly think they have no agenda or calendar in their mind.

Whatever happens happens. And if sth gets in the way of things (disease death) that'll be the end of the adventure.

One thing is sure (and I'm grateful for it) they'll never make a farewell "give us your cash" tour. The Stones have always been about music... and style! thumbs up

They seem to have no interest in writing new material... So yes. This current tour is the endgame. Only they know how long they'll take it.

Emotionally no. Statistically may be. Still probably not.

Of course it's the last time. Until the next time. Unless there is never a next time.

Point is, because the Stones will most likely never announce that it's the last time, we, the general public will never know with 100% certainty in advance or even in the present, that we are seeing them "for the last time". Only sometime after (days, weeks, months, years) their last show/tour will people be able to say "that was the last time".

We can speculate, guess & predict all we want, and some will be right in their predictions or guesses but, unless the Stones themselves decide to announce it, we will never "know" until it's passed.

Happy guessing to all!

Peace,
Mr DJA

The first time that it was the last time for me, was in 1982.

They don't need to make a farewell "give us your cash tour".
Just a tour.
And we give them our cash.
Lots of it.
Over and over again.
And we do it gladly.
And they accept it gladly.

Yep. I really think so. Charlie is the key, imo. And, if it ends with a big splash, great reviews, etc. I don't think Mick will want to risk another round. Maybe they will do a few tribute shows and specials but as far as tours go, I think this is it.

I don't think I want them to risk it either. 75 year olds trying to pull off a show that even 70 year old could seems like a stretch. At their ages I think the potential problems of a typical Rolling Stones show start mounting. Sure they could rely on Ronnie and the other musicians more but that just would be more smoke and mirrors, taking them further away from the thing that made them so great. Keith is pulling it off in 2015 but I don't expect him to do it in 2017-18. peace

Actually I don't mind if they retire......(pity maybe for does who just discovered the Stones).......I enjoy them from the age of 13 back in '67 so no complains from my side ........saw them a couple of times .........Just one big 3 hour show to end it all.......... broadcasted it WW live so they can put an other record on their name ....most viewed concert EVER..............after that I will play some of my favorite records Beggars...Bleed and Exile.
