I thought it was Bill who was going to publish his Diaries ?

just read on a Dutch internetsite www.nu.nl that Ronnie will publish a 50 year old diary, when he first started with the Birds. will be released later this year by Genesis publications. a deluxe edition will have additional sketches.

Ron Wood heeft zijn dagboek uit de jaren zestig teruggevonden en besloten het te publiceren. Onder de titel How Can It Be? A Rock & Roll Diary verschijnt jaar het dagboek dat de Rolling Stones-gitarist halverwege de jaren zestig bijhield.

Wood was het schrift met handgeschreven aantekeningen vijftig jaar kwijt, maar vond het onlangs weer terug, meldt de Engelse uitgeverij Genesis Publications vrijdag, die het boek op de markt gaat brengen.

Ronnie Wood was zeventien in het jaar dat hij het dagboek bijhield. Hij was net zijn professionele muziekcarrière begonnen als gitarist bij de Londense rhythm & bluesband The Birds.

Volgens de uitgever komen talloze bekende musici uit de Engelse muziekscene van de jaren zestig in het dagboek voorbij, waaronder Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, Keith Moon en Marianne Faithfull.

Pfff...from Genesis? So that means another very expensive Stones related book.

It looks like an interesting book, but I just stop with expensive purchases like this one, at least for a while.
