In my early beer drinking days and when i visited germany we stopped in a place called bad oeyenhausen and was drinking a beer <which unfortunately the name escapes me> anyway you would have to wait for the froth to more or less disappear and then would be refilled up to the top and this would take a bout five minutes, but the wait was well worth it as it tasted like wine.
Any of our german friends have any idea what it would be called as i take it was a local brew?
I also admit my mrs drank me under the table that night, hasten to add it hasant happaned since.
Still no-one knows about the Rolling Stones brand beer. (I'm not getting confused with Rolling Rock).
I think I read about it in an old book called something like the Rolling Stones Encyclopedia. However, I'm not sure where that book disappeared to - it went walkies when I moved house.
Augustiner reminds me of one week in Munich for the tour start 2003 of course. Not a bad choice for beer. In fact I enjoyed it a lot during that week, going to at least four different major Augustiner places. Have to get back to Munich one day - that is for sure!

One sure gets thirsty from this post. Anywayz: My second favorite is Paulaner, the dark variety. My favorite is one whose name I can't remember. I only know where to buy it. It's very "trueb", to say it is not very clear. It has a really weird taste. But I like it.
