Many good shows (some really crappy ones), but the standout ones were:

Cage The Elephant - newer band, just rocked it, full or energy and very tight, great rhythm guitarist

Lake Street Dive - another newer band...jazzy/pop with great singer and excellent musicianship....female standup bass (with great solos), drums and a guy who switches back and forth from guitar to trumpet. Odd, but it works. Much better live than studio.

Ziggy Marley/Steel Pulse - Ziggy was the headliner and was blown off the stage by Steel Pulse who were superior musicians with more energy

A year where I avoided the big 'spectacle' tours and went small, and mostly up and coming bands. Caught lots of bands playing their hearts out and that made it a good year.

Hoping to get out to some more concerts in 2015. Hopefully the Stones again, and there's a few others I'd like to catch.

Nick Cave, the new King Crimson lineup, Kraftwerk in 3D, Springsteen at Jazzfest, and the Mule marathon were highlights.

Ian Hunter was quite good. You'd never know he's 75. Agreed about his recent albums.
