Many great suggestions thumbs up

However, Slave, Fancyman Blues and Love Is Strong are pretty lonely weaving-jobs for Keith smiling smiley

Cheers Dandelion! Thanx for the feedback!smileys with beer

Yeah, Slave ain't that full of weaving but since Keith plays it in standard tuning and there are some nice inputs from Bill and Charlie (not to mention the ad-lib from Jagger and saxophones an' all) I really enjoy this tune while I am frying the fish at home. (In order to fry the fish successfully thou MUST have sleazy weaving on the stereo.)

Love Is Strong and Fancyman I gotta object though, Ronnie does some really cool stuff playing against Keef on LIS, it got the same feel as Main Offender and Fancyman is, the HEADSNAKE of tunes! Comes crawling fresh every bleeding time you put it on!!

Love Fancyman Blues!!!

Already done mate!!

In the traditional sense what Ronnie does ain't weaving but he manage to integrate his licks and playing into Keith's crawling rhyhtm, I like to compare it to what he (Ronnie) do live on Brown Sugar, where he plays the 2-note Berry licks against Keith's Chorus riff to reach Amazing results. So, I will stand by my case that he actually finds efficient solutions to Keith's playing. Hence weaving. smileys with beer

The lead guitar in the left channel is Keith as well.

If Ronnie plays on LIS at all it is on acoustic guitar.

great 'album' you've selected there.

I might sub out HTW for Let It Bleed, but otherwise great choices.

It seems that after ER Ronnie has been incredibly left out. There are some tracks after ER where it's obvious something is grooving though.

Hey Negrita
Miss You
Lies
Respectable
Beast Of Burden
Everything Is Turning To Gold
Dance
If I Was A Dancer
Summer Romance
Send It To Me
Down In The Hole
She's So Cold
Start Me Up
Hang Fire
Black Limousine
Neighbours
Pretty Beat Up
All The Way Down
Harlem Shuffle
Dirty Work
Terrifying
Hearts For Sale
Love Is Strong
I'm Gonna Drive
I Go Wild
Don't Stop

Great list but not much weaving going on in Fancy Man Blues. Great song though!

Cheers,

"Ronnie on acoustic. Keith on two Electrics"

confused smiley

I thought it was Mr Page on one of them Electrics?!?!

The intro to I Got The Blues, surely that is one guitar?

Anyway, All The Way Down should be on that CD, what a King Crawlin' Weaver!

Max, Keith plays two rhythm guitars on One Hit. Jimmy only plays the solo guitar.

On I Got The Blues there are two electric guitars. One of the rare examples (but a beautiful one indeed) on weaving by Taylor and Keith. Keith's guitar is the one with a bit of echo.
