What happened with the Satisfaction intro? Did Keith lose his pick or what, anyone who knows?

There was an intruder on stage, he got wrestled down and apparently lost his glasses.
Keith stepped / or nearly stepped on them.
that's all

Maybe it was the same guy as in '81, getting a kind of revenge. Most uncool!

Why stop because of a pair of glasses on a gigantic stage floor? smiling smiley

Dandelion dear, the point is that he nearly stepped/slipped on them. Not good!
There are people in the stage crew that are supposed to make sure it's clear of obstacles like that, wipe up spills, etc.
Were they all busy piling on the intruder or ... ?

Absolutely - where were those guys who jumped into action to wipe up the catwalk and how after Mick baptised us with his water in Berlin?? Keith Did The Right Thing - and was perhaps thinking of Mick more than anyone.

Ok. Let's agree to disagree smiling smiley

Would like to see a clip of Mick Taylor's performance. He's looking very good!

Based on the YT clip, OOC was a very good one with a spirited performance from Mick.

This looks like a very good and solid show!

I think MR was one of the first videos posted in this thread. Not complete, though.

I smile as I read your great review remembering their show at Roskilde Festival, Denmark this summer. The Greatest Rock Band in the World!

Didn't know at the time but my wife sneakily filmed me making my way to our front row seats.
A bit self indulgent to share, but you get a view of stage and setup.
A great memory to come back to in years to come.

Pictures and editorial reports from Adelaide here:

Feel free to send your Adelaide reviews and comments by e-mail to iorr@arena.no - and I will post them on the above reports pages. I just arrived into Perth following a three hours flight, so I am still a bit behind. Lots of Stones fans on the flight, Perth fans that could not wait ontil the first show here on Wednesday.

More soon...

A few notes based on reports, reviews and clips so far:

- the Stones seem to continue with a same high note they left us in Europe. Not a surprise; the show I saw in Stockholm showed such a determination and spirits that they really can't miss it.
- great to see that really have decided that "Out of Control" is a big song from the latter days, no matter if the audience is familiar with it or not. One of the tour highlights. With epic "Midnight Rambler" and "Miss You" a showcase for their musicianship.
- nice also that Keith keeps up performing not so obvious "Can't Be Seen".
- Jagger has that emotional extra addition, especially in slow numbers like "Wild Horses", to his otherwise technically perfect interpretations. "Angie" blew my mind in Stockholm, and seemingly in Adelaide the same thing happened to many with "Wild Horses".
- something funny and different happening with "Rambler" guitaring, colouring the basic verses interestingly. Taylor?
- I never realized I wear 'dangerous item' up my nose daily...grinning smiley

Someone tried to attack Mick Jagger on stage sad smiley

Yesterday, during the show (Adelaide), a local staff (or not???) tried to attack Mick Jagger on stage but 2 bodyguards jumped on him.

Here the video with the reactions of Lisa, Bernard and Chuck.

Of course you don't know. But to me it looks like a kid (-30). Maybe it was his first Stones concert? Running on stage used to be pretty common on festivals. For some bands even a part of the show.
I can't see any weapons of sorts (except for his glasses). My theory: Just a stupid kid. But that's just a theory. I don't have all the facts. It may be something more serious than that.

I would not worry too much about the stage runner. Sure he pissed off security. He came from backstage and some say he actually worked at the venue.

It is reminding me of the tour start in Boston 2005, at the Green Monster. A guy crashed the stage, he just walked it and acted like he played a guitar on what was a stick or just nothing. There were two shows in Boston, and when I asked security about the guy at the 2nd show, they said "He is still locked up"...

So I hope they lock up this stupid idiot for half a year or so, at least for a month, so that we can enjoy the tour without having him around trying to share the stage with Mick Jagger.

- my thoughts exactly when I saw him running from backstage in that jacket.

I guess he won't have his backstage pass renewed then. If he ever had one...

One of my Adelaide favorites. Mick was great. Charlie was great. Ronnie was great. And Keith was great, just watch him on this picure, he was doing a great performance and made this show as great as the shows in Europe this summer:
