video: [www.youtube.com]

Hey guys,

If I stumble across little videos I haven't seen before I normally post them up here. This is a nice one of the three talking about the Love You Live album. Really relaxed, cool interview.

Sorry if this has been posted before!

What are they talking about, the 3 shows? They were filmed and recorded from what it sounds like, for some kind of release obviously but what?

The song is a SG sessions outtake called it's a lie.

Weird. I've heard the beginning. Somehow the rest of it didn't ring.

Hilarous stuff! Never seen before, so thank you!

Laconic Charlie is a real character... "then we're going to road again..."grinning smiley

I guess the missed "movie" he is talking about in regards to LADIES AND GENTLEMEN must be CS BLUES. "You are not in it, thank goodness", says Mick to Ronnie...>grinning smiley<

They don't do interviews like this any more; I guess none of them was completely straight...

Great interview - being just natural instead of being programmed what to say / not to say, allowed to drink and smoke and being drunk / high in TV, miss the good old days....smileys with beer

It's A Lie (Some Girls outtake). Is it a different version on the video?
Seen the interview before, but it's priceless.

Agreed. There's a very cool sense of "the boys in the band hanging out" in that interview. No stage, no audience, no tv host. Everybody's relaxed, having fun. Mick is not being so guarded. They're sitting in an empty studio and Bob Harris gets very close to them socially. He was great at that.

I've always loved that interview, you can see the humour and camaraderie that exists between them, a charming piece

"It's a Lie" is one of my favourite outtakes from that era, wonderful song, another favourite would be "I Need You".

Or it could be that they just don't feel like doing that any more. It was a fun time though.
