A judge in Mississippi has approved a divorce settlement between rocker Jerry Lee Lewis and his sixth wife.
Kerrie Lynn McCarver Lewis, 42, who married the Great Balls of Fire star in 1984, will reportedly receive $250,000 (£137,000) from the settlement.
Lewis, 69, must also pay her $30,000 (£16,000) a year for five years plus child support for their son.
Lewis had accused his wife of adultery. A trial had been scheduled before the deal was struck on Wednesday.
Outside the courthouse, Lewis said: "It's been a long day and it's been an expensive day."
The couple had lived together at Lewis's 40-acre ranch near Nesbit in north Mississippi, which he will keep as part of the agreement.
Tour delay
His wife had questioned Lewis's own fidelity. She also claimed the singer and his daughter had hidden assets from her, leaving her and their son Jerry Lee Lewis III penniless.
She claimed her husband's income topped $1 million (£548,000) annually.
Lewis's road manager JW Whitten said the singer had been unable to plan long term bookings because of the case but would now resume touring and recording a new album.
"We needed this to be over just so we could get back to making some money," he said.
Lewis's personal life has frequently put him in the public eye. In 1958, his career suffered after he was criticised for taking his 13-year-old cousin as his third wife.
