Keith Richards
@officialKeef

Keith Richards is the celebrated guitarist of the Rolling Stones, who, alongside frontman Mick Jagger, has penned many of the band's greatest hits, including "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "Ruby Tuesday," and "Sympathy For The Devil." Richards has played guitar on the Stones' over 60 albums and provided lead vocals on more than 25 singles. He has also released two solo albums, 1988's Talk is Cheap and 1992's Main Offender. Richards published his autobiography, Life, in 2010 and penned his first children's book, Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar, in 2014.

Don't know about an audio book, but 'Gus & Me' does include "an exclusive audio CD featuring bonus content."

just ordered a copy of "gus and me" from amazon (it is released sept. 9th), here's what they say:

Keith's grandfather, Theodore Augustus Dupree lived near Seven Sisters Road, in a house filled with instruments and cakes. A nostalgic look back at happy childhood days as the Rolling Stone star remembers his grandfather - a former big band player who encouraged his grandson to take up the guitar, in this charming picture book whimsically illustrated by Keith Richards' daughter. Includes an exclusive CD with a reading of the story by a professional actor, James Langton, and a spoken introduction and additional guitar music from Keith.

... the Stones' over 60 albums and provided lead vocals on more than 25 singles

really?
Is that the quantity, or the target age group?

Yeah, I had to laugh at that too, I guess they're counting all the compilations and live albums.

What are the 25 singles, or do they mean 25 songs? Is it actually 25 Rolling Stones songs?

Will Keith play any guitar this time?

Last time he was on the show he claimed he was "rusty" and refused.
Maybe he will at the least sit in with the house band as so many others have, and plunk out a few riffs.

Maybe he is going to announce a Stones tour of the United States, beginning in the spring or summer of 2015. Or maybe a new Stones CD. Anyone ever think of that?

Let's just hope that if he feels compelled to discuss any 'dodgers' - they be of the Los Angeles variety

I would have loved to have seen Keith on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

That would have been historic.

I have it on good authority that he is going to do one of those cooking segments with Jimmy Fallon and do his Shepherd's Pie recipe. When they come back from the commercial break, he will be talking about knives and literally showing everyone the blade.

Who is the host? The late shows have become awful.

Jimmy Fallon is the host now. He is a huge Stones and Keith fan. Keith did Fallon's show a few years ago.

Keith was on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" three times...four if you count his Exile Week cameo.

Keith nodding off from smack and/or booze and Johnny nodding off from boredom? Not sure that would have been worth taping.

He seems to be pretty good at getting celebrities to warm to him. He's doing a very good job with "Tonight" I think.

No, because it's on the day his book comes out. So it seems pretty obvious why he's there. winking smiley
