How would you rate this new release by DAC (Baltimore and Boston 1969), performancewise and soundwise ?

Baltimore is an average audience recording only, same as "Devil's Discipline" but now the complete show for the first time.
Boston is very good and listenable, not exactly as good as Oakland or San Diego, but really not bad!

Both of them were seeded on Dimeadozen a few months ago... that's probably where the bootleg labels got them from.

Exactly.

The new Baltimore source and the Boston upgrade (both taken from 1st gen tapes) have been circulated for free through DaD.
Also, the Baltimore show is still incomplete.

I think there's three Baltimore sources:
- Devil's Disciple (VGP)
- Live In Baltimore 1969 & More (don't know what label this is on)
- new 1st gen source

All of them are incomplete, but if you put them together, you can get the complete show, which might be what DAC have done.

Even if you combine all three sources, Prodigal Son and Little Queenie are still missing.

I didn't know that Michael... it's a shame, Baltimore is one of the best shows of the tour.

It´s one of my all time favorite shows.

By the way there are actually FOUR sources: The show was also multitracked for the official Ya-Ya´s release. Maybe some day we´ll even get to hear the complete soundboard audio...
