I dont think they will (The Auckland story seems more to be a case of the promoters HOPING they'll play rather than anything solid)
The tour schedule doesnt seem to indicate much room for a tour down under - and when Cohl mentioned the various legs of the tour at the press conference, Australia was conspicuously absent.
I think the fact that Latin America is getting a visit this time - and longer than normal with stops in places like Puerto Rico,Uruguay and Chile as well as the more obvious locations like Brazil, Argentina and Mexico - doesnt look good for the Aussies, I'm afraid.
I also think they'll play more Asian shows this time.
Let's just hope that if they do hit Australia, the crowds are a bit more appreciative! I was friggin embarrassed last time around (not so much Enmore, but certainly Superdome) as to how lame Aussie crowds were. About 10% are enthusiastic, while the other 90 sit on their rings and get shitty if others stand up and get into it.
