OT: Who's Aasmund?

Åsmund Vik - saw that this name is logged on - and written in the same devine bold and italic letters as Bjornulf.
Bjornulf's son?

Did he also write his PhD thesis about determination of alkalinity in formation waters?

I confess - I'm a bit bored :-D

Sure he can; I also wait, excited, for the answer.
But you all ought to know that Vik/Wik is a quite common name
in Sweden (probably also in Swedish-lingual parts of Finland)
& to a even wider extent in Norway (Where Björnulf lives)
but to a lesser extent in Denmark, where they mostly are called
"Vig".
The word means "Bay" & the very Vikings got their common name from
the bays where they lived. End of lesson.

/ Historian Baboon (ye, I am) ... Well, Björnulf: Is it a family member,
this Vik-chap?
