The Stadium Stage

Any idea how elaborate an outdoor stage we can expect. Has the budget tightened?

I don't think there budget has tightened by the price of the tickets they are selling. Many bands do not even play stadiums anymore because of the cost of Stadium Shows. Bands like U2 have gotten smart raised their tickets to $160.00 in arenas were it is much less expensive. I remeber during the Licks Tour the rolling stones did not start turning a profit until the tour was 50-60% complete.

By the way: U2 do not play any arenas in Europe, only stadiums. Ticket prices are more or less equivilent to US prices except that you may be a little bit further away.
As the Stones have guaranteed income plus the bonus they might be interested that the arenas and stadiums are not empty, because it would look a bit awkward for the Greatest Rock and Roll band, but moneywise they have been save since the Steel Wheel Tour....
