12 days ago, bought a ticket for Vienna show, for my best friend.
everything went fine, transaction confirmed...
one thing that worries me is this:.."
Delivery Information:

Tickets for live events are often not released until very close to the event date. Therefore, you should expect to receive your tickets 3 days before the event. We will notify you by email as soon as your tickets have been dispatched. "

why so late ?
i remember ,back in 2011, after confirmation mail, my ticket for Black Crowes show in Amsterdam, was dispatched ,after 4-5 days !

Your experience with Viagogo ?

Not all venues accept tickets from Viagogo - you might have a problem

what do you mean ?

as far as I understand, Viagogo is mediator, charging fee for service, it is not official ticket seller ,like eventim, ticketmaster....

Viagogo is a viaNOgo for me. Try to get tickets for sold-out concerts, sportsgames, etc. for face value from real fans, for instance on this board or other fanboards, not from legalized scalpers like viagogo. If you don't get the tickets for face value + postal costs, than take your lost and don't go. Otherwise you will contribute the black market and that's a thumbs down!!!!!

Every time I scan the board and glance at this thread title, I think for a split second that it reads "Viagra question."

If your elation lasts for more than 4 hours, call a scalper.

They resell tickets to a higher price which is not allowed, some countries (thank godness) have banned these things.

Don't worry, they say this to cover themselves but tickets, especially those being sold by individuals, are often sent out well before this. Also, they are indeed a mediator and there is nothing illegal about it, any more than selling items for a higher value on eBay. They state quite clearly that tickets are often sold for above face value. There is nothing about or on the ticket itself to indicate where it was bought, so don't be alarmed about that. It is true that scalpers sell through these sites, but it's also true that it's a place, often the only place (along with similar sites like StubHub), for people to sell tickets to concerts they can't attend, or bought too many tickets for, or whatever. Not everyone who sells on there is some sort of crook. I've sold tickets on StubHub myself to shows I couldn't attend, or when I had upgraded my ticket, when I couldn't find a buyer (which was always). I asked face value plus the StubHub fee that I had to pay to list the ticket. I got most of the money for my ticket back, a buyer somewhere got one for a fair price. So it's not all doom and gloom. smiling smiley

Btw, the notion of selling to "real fans" on forums is fine if it's a Stones ticket, but if it's for another band, or for a festival, I'm not familiar with the appropriate forums, plus the members there wouldn't know me and I don't know them so we'd be unwise to trust each other. So where else would I sell my surplus ticket?

I thought the same thing and take the advice from Dr. Rockman: "from what I've read it's best to take tablet approx an hour before sex ..."
