I assume you mean the Blu Ray. I can't comment on that as I don't have it.

As for the Circus in general, its one of my personal favorite events in Stones history. I used to listen to that album and watch that video so much when I was a kid, and that performance of Sympathy For The Devil is partly responsible for me being a fan and IMO one of their best performances of all time. I can't recommend that concert enough. That was such a weird special time and concert. Its worth it to see Pete Townshend and John Lennon watching, and loving, the Stones.

I've found that Blu-Ray doesn't really help the visual part of a DVD if you're dealing with grainy film to begin with. I would imagine the upgrade would be in the audio portion. I doubt there's any new bonus materials.

I'm referring to the blu-ray. I didn't even know it was available in the blu ray format. just happened to stumble upon it while trying to order the regular dvd.

Where can I find this blu ray? I've been looking at Amazon.com, A.jp and A.co.uk but I don't see it.

I was looking at the regular dvd sellers. Just happened that one of them had a blu ray. said it was rare. I was skeptical but bought it anyway. I'm still waiting for feedback on this site to see if it's legit because i can't find info on it anywhere.

I've never heard there was a blu-ray release from this concert. On the Stones' store website only the DVD version is listed, and I couldn't find any more infos about it.

Do you have a link from your Amazon order? Maybe this could help us to help you, though I think there is no Blu Ray edition of this release.

Assuming this is even legitimate, wouldn't be the same as getting a blu ray version of your favourite 60s TV show?

Is "I Dream Of Jeannie" going to be that much better on blu ray?

Actually everything what is originaly released on film can realy look better on blu ray. Even sixties and seventies stuff.
For example the classic '71 series The Persuaders with Roger Moore looks way better than all earlier released dvd versions!

But let's face it: there's no official R'n'R Circus blu ray, otherwise we would have found somewhere info about it!

Exactly. This is why Live in Texas looks better on Bluray than DVD. It is still funny to me that when everyone upgraded to video, suddenly we actually took a step DOWN in quality.. Hence no great films from 1975. I am so glad that the guys in Texas 78 filmed on FILM!
