Lots of warhorses guys...just saying.

Because the warhorses are also fantastic - but we just heard them thausend times. Yes, I would rather hear some rare stuff too, but songs like JJF, GS and BS are also amazing.

Oh my god, there are soo many...
How to decide?
So I asked myself:
Wich one would I carry on that island...?
Surely not the warhorses...

So here they are:

Midnight rambler
Can you hear me knocking
Fancyman Blues
Time waits for no one
Till the Next Goodbye
Waiting on a friend
Beast of burden
Rough justice
Sad Sad Sad
Under my thumb
2000 Light Years from Home
Jiving Sister Fanny
Hide your love
Love in vain
You got the silver
Wild horses
Moonlight mile
I got the blues
Sister morphine
Loving cup
Let it loose
Shine a light
Winter
Hot stuff
Child of the moon

I left out Ruby Tuesday and Let's Spend The Night Together, and probably a few others.

To me it looks like that you have forgotten the whole BETWEEN THE BUTTONS album... And of STICKY FINGERS only "Wild Horses" didn't made the list, which is an interesting choice (what's wrong with it?). But we all have our own taste!thumbs up

Nice to see that others agree with me that Out Of Control and Saint Of Me are classics and are as good as anything the Stones have ever done. Especially played live and exactly as Mick did them for the St. Louis show on the Bridges tour.

Well, I can find fault with a few...but, I'll give a little curtsy to those that particpated too. As Keith says, how do you choose among your babies? I'd be hard pressed to come up with just twenty-five. I love most all of them.

Dreamer - The warhorses have been played to death but those are fantastic songs that are in my DNA. Would love more rarities but how can some of the best rock songs ever written and performed be left out of the Stones top 25 songs?? That is just ridiculous. When the Stones do stop we will all bitch and complain that we no longer go and see them play Satisfaction. I relish Satisfaction when I am at a show it can always be the last time that the timeless song that made the Rolling Stones mega rock stars will ever be played. Do I wish the band would play less "warhorses" when I go to a show? Yes. But I don't want to go to a show where they play none of them. Whatever we think of Start Me Up it always gets the crowd fired up. As soon as Keith hits those apparently simple little notes the crowd is on their feet jumping, dancing and yelling. When Keith can no longer do this we will be robbed of a real important part of our lives and yearn to be young again. That is how those so called warhorses make me feel.
