How far is the VIE airport from city centre?

You take the CAT(16 min) or express train(30ish min) to Wien Mitte-Landstraße station in the centre area, which is directly connected with two u-bahn/metro lines. U3 & U4.

From here you can do the following.

U4 towards Heiligenstadt
          * Stop Schottenring
U2 towards Seestadt
          * Stop Stadion

i know what you mean, it was on the newsletter from oe-ticket. but, it's not confirmed & btw, if this is really the vienna poster it's not good.

Spent a good chunk of today stalking. Mick came out of the front door once at about 2pm. Jerry Hall and Georgia May with him. Mick signed for a few people. Also saw Chuck and Bernard, but that was it.

When my children or future grandchildren will browse through old Stones concert posters they will of course pause at the more interesting ones and ask: "Were you at that concert"? And I'll have to admit: "Unfortunateley not."

I assume it's a reference to Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an Austrian painter. He did a waste treatment plant in Vienna that shows a similar pattern.

I really like this Stones-Vienna 2014 Art Poster that probably refers to the great Painter and Architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. In 98 I was in Vienna involved of an Arttrain exhibition, great town.
