Has anyone seen those pictures of Mick on the balcony in LA?
I don't want to provide a link because I feel like he's being violated...
but he looks absolutely devastated. I know we, as fans, will never know these people personally, and we have no 'connection' ....but it's heartbreaking to see him like this for me.

I had to look. I regret it. Man, he looks devastated.

Brings it home.

Although I've experienced the loss of loved ones, it's hard to imagine what he's going through...very sad. sad smiley

I was under the impression that BV asked yesterday that this thread be kept to actual tributes and good taste.

Well, she still had more opportunity than most to survive. We're not talking about a young person that was bullied, or someone who had documented depression over a long period, or had major drug addiction problems.

The only downside I see is the humiliation of being a famous failure, but I can't see that as the only motivation for suicide. That is, I'm not convinced about the professional problems you mention was enough to drive her to suicide.

I think, perhaps, the fact she was alone in the world (no one to go to express whatever depression she was going through) could've been a factor.

More info needs to come out on this.

L'Wren Scott's Funeral: CNN Story
Posted by: TornAndFried ()
Date: March 26, 2014 04:13

Here is a brief and respectful CNN report about L'Wren's private funeral and memorial service which took place in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Mick was said to have given a moving and heartfelt tribute to his long-time partner, and Rolling Stones background singer Bernard Fowler sang the gospel classic "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" accompanied by Dave Stewart on guitar. Several of Mick's children and grandchildren read passages from the Bible or poems. It must have been an emotional occasion for Mick and all who attended this sad but touching memorial for the life of a beautiful and talented woman.

Nice tribute. Just took a quick glance at the charity but it looks like they do very good work.
