I alreadz booked mz flight to Boston (currently I live in Central America), but I only have a ticket for the 23. Shall I buy a ticket for the opening show via a scalper, or just show up a few hours before the concert - thanks

They are NOT sold out, I've been to 100's of STONES shows, there are always seats, show up early at the venue, in the morning and wait, some tickets will be released.

And honestly, if you buy from a scalper, call them the day of the show, they will probably sell you a ticket cheap. In California, and Denver and Ohio, I DO THIS AND GET A TICKET AT FACE VALUE, (the scalpers always have left over tickets, especially upper level seats). See, you get in, then drop down to where you want to sit/stand) they don't want to still have the tics after the show.

ME, I'm all for getting in a venue early, hiding out, and not paying a dime, the "politicos" of the system make enough money as it is.

You've been to 100's of Stones shows?

Meaning more than 200?

Thats got to be the record!

Did you ever bought a fake in the US in the streets. I did and I saw a lot who didn't make it because they bought fake tickets. So just be careful.

I would be careful about buying from strangers these days. A ticklet may be completely legit but it may be cancelled in the computer, because it may have been reported stolen or lost. If you buy outside from private people then don't spend more than you can loose. Most of the people who sell are real and honest, but there are a few rotten apples in the basket. Be aware. Try the box office on the day before o on the day of the show. They do usually have spare tickets.

DON'T BUY FROM SCALPERS!!!

Look, dude....most people get their tickets over the internet now and they are mailed to their email as an attachment....it's just a B&W piece of paper....they don't even need to have high-tech computer equipment to create "fakes"...

all a scalper has to do is buy ONE ticket and print out 100's of copies of that ticket....once ONE copy has passed thru the scanner at the gates, the rest will be literally OUT IN THE COLD...

if you HAVE to buy from a scalper, have him escort you to the entrance and do NOT pay him until the scanner has "approved" your ticket....

your best bet is to try showing up early....but, best of luck w/ that...

Exactly what happened to me in Portland '98 - I had the ticket but turns out it was stolen and sold to me. It worked out okay after a bit of panice - I got to strut in the press box for the show.
