To all you "purists" out there...

If you want some good old, stripped down, basic, LOUD, guitar-laden, ripping vox, solid, tight ROCK n' ROLL...go see Velvet Revolver....

5 dudes....stripped-down stage....no bullsh*t lights, and explosions and "shites n' giggles" gimmicky crap....just 2 hours of solid rock...

saw them last night in VA Beach.....

they jammed most of the VR album, 2 STP songs ("crackerman" & "sextype thing"), 2 Gn'R songs ("it's so easy" & "mr. brownstone")....and a nice Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" cover to boot...

very little "talking" and BS....just one song to the next....

Slash still has the skills on the ax....and Weiland is a wild front man....

go see this band if you want a cool, Rn'R experience....they're not the biggest, not the best....just damn good....

worth the $25 ticket.....

I think they tour Europe this summer....get out there and rock.

Slash rules....

The album is crap IMHO.
So, I'm not really intrested in seeing them live.
I like Slash, but he needs some good songs to play on.

btw... Izzy was the ultimate gunner.

Good point....get Izzy in the band....

I like the VR album (some, not all)....but, yeah, they lack Izzy's song & riff - writing abilities....
