We will all get tickets, but what about this...(IORR album)

Got your attention, didn't I?
Why is this album (one of my favorites) seem to have a muddy mix?
Even Mickboy's remix didn't seem to do much (unlike GHS).
Some Girls, Tattoo You, even Black and Blue have a good, crisp mix, (and all after),
but this one seems to have just the opposite. Good songs, good performances.
What happened in the mix? I really don't think it was the dope,
so save any speeches on that.
Wonder if it was usicland stidios (even though most of B&B was done there) could have been the culprit.
Mind you, it's one of my all-time favorites, so this is not a criticism.
I would just like to hear other comments.

Shattered darling : what make you know I could know?

Ripen your teaser a little bit.

Well, here is a trail : IORR was the first album self-produced by the Stones, after Jimmy Miller's area.

It was also the first where the Stones begin to parody themselves.

J: Anyone that tunes at 220/440hz off the phone line knows what he is doing.

I see : You are a purist, a loyal soldier.

No bla-bla, no digression.

So be it.

Amen, brother.

True about the mix, but they had the usual top engineers (Chkiantz, Johns, Harwood) & studio - where the very nice, airy-sounding B&B was recorded.
