Did anyone see the comedy movie about the whole Carson, Letterman, Leno & NBC circus called Late Night, I believe, with Cathy Bates as a totally crass & raunchy agent? Hilarious! Opening credits read something to the effect of, unfortunately this story is based on real events....spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

No! But speaking of movies made about network television and based on real events, ever see The Gong Show Movie?

I wonder how much longer Conan has with TBS? I was disappointed that he knocked George Lopez off the air. Conan is still Conan, but he seems diminished. The lesson is that part of it is the show itself. The Tonight Show has an established aura that greatly helped Jay. Letterman would have been great as host of the Tonight Show. I have noticed one disturbing thing, though. Absolutely none of the late show hosts are good interviewers.

he really didn't knock lopez off the air. lopez was one of the reasons TBS and conan got together. TBS figured they could put conan on at 11pm and have lopez on at midnight boosting lopez ratings with conan as a lead in. lopez even called conan and told him this was a good deal and TBS had a good plan. the move back fired and the lopez ratings dropped and the show was canceled.

This guy is, to me, so not funny. How I would love to have Carson back. I won't watch his drivel.

stop on Letterman doing his... whatever he does...

"In Yugoslavia you'll never starve", I believe is how the misquoted lyric goes.

So no need to sweat it Stoneage....they'll never starve, never starve, never starve.

<<they'll never starve, never starve, never starve.>>

But they'll always be Yugoslavians to me, me, me.

Relaxe its a joke. It's skit on misunderstood lyrics that people wrote in.

Yeah, maybe I was a bit trigger happy there! It's a joke about Sir Michael's speach impediments - now I get it! Carry on...
