Rickman, once a mate of mine on a budget used this minor airline. The plane was a semi-wreck and full of flies. A really shit plane, although she got to her destination and back safely.

Wonder if there will be any shenanigans going on like in the movie CS Blues? People certainly did not remain seated at all times on that plane.

Well the girls were kinda sitting, I suppose. They just weren't sitting on seats.

I wonder if they hear this Jagger’s playlist on the plane:

Clifton Chenier: “I'm a Hog for You”, Album: Out West

Salif Keita: “M'Bemba”, Album: M’Bemba

T Visvanathan, T Ranganathan (Malladi Brothers): “Sandehamunu”, Album: Tribute to Alain Daniélou

Farafina: “Dounounia”, Album: Faso Denou

Fela Kuti & Africa 70 and Ginger Baker: “Let's Start”, Album: Fela Kuti & Africa 70 with Ginger Baker Live!

Does it really matter what side you lick her from? Anyway, nice plane and a nice step up from what they used to use. Still a prop plane for the 72 tour and we've all come a long way since then.

Anyone knows who travels on the plane?
Is it just the band and family and some of the tour personal?
It seems rather big so it can hold a lot of people!

Cheers,
Wuudy

This could be a whole another book yet to be written. How they, or someone, or some company, moves rock and roll (players, people, luggage, clothes, hats, stages, stage hands, equipment, guitars, etc) around the world. I bet the side stories alone would make it worth reading. Like the time customs people... or the time that stow away was found... or the time when some stage parts didnt make it on the plane... or thetime when a band member had to catch a ride with...

logisitics...

The plane they are using for this tour (Boeing 767) will be used by the band, entourage, guests and family as well as tour staff and touring crew. On most tours the band, entourage and family fly from city to city in a smaller chartered jet while the tour staff and crew travel in coaches. This plane they are using now also transports the band gear, wardrobe, sound, video and lighting equipment and stage set.

A downgrade from the 1990 tour

But still faster than this one.....

But I heard that security is very tight as far as who can get onto this new plane.

You're welcome, Wuddy. I work in the concert business...that's how I know! smiling smiley
By the way, there are 2 major companies that specialize in moving concert touring equipment around the globe by air: Rock-It-Cargo and Sound Moves. The Stones (and almost every other major band and artist) have used both many times over the years.

I hope someone on the plane grabs some video footage of (and shares) what it looks like on the inside... I would love some ideas for when I get my own jet like this.
