OK, here we go again...

The lads seem to be in Dubai, a frequent stopover between Australia and Europe.

If we're going to use [www.flightradar24.com] to watch their progress, then we need to know if they are still using ZS-DJI

Anyone?

Bernard posted a photo of the tour jet saying 'see you soon Australia and NZ'.

Seems the rehearsals will be down under! I wonder in which city?

I can't see the Stones living in Adelaide for 2 weeks (no offence to our Adelaidean fans) so I'm tipping and hoping my hometown of Melbourne for rehearsals given that Frontier is based here.

pool's in but the patio ain't dry

Melbourne would be great! I just assumed sydney but your point about Fronteir is a good one...

I heard somewhere a while back that they would be flying in an Air New Zealand charter. Ronnie also posted a pic on Twitter of a "guitar shaped oil slick under his plane"!? He must be on the sauce again..

Is that info from the same source that tipped London rehearsals? ;-)

EK 440 is a commercial flight. Would think the Stones are flying charter.

London rehearsal source came from Europe.
Ronnie tweeted he was leaving Dubai bound for Aus.
That's only flight into Aus.

There's also a flight into Melbourne within the timeframe we're guessing at, and we really don't know that they are flying commercial, together, separately, or on a charter!

Ronnie's tweet from a couple of hours ago - "G'bye Dubai, G'day Oz ~ Waiting to fly to Australia"

"Waiting" isn't quite the same as "leaving".

Suffice to say he/they will be in Oz soon enough, most likely on a charter departing from an airport other than Dubai International.

Nothing showing up at the only other airport 'Dubai World Central International Airport'

Not in the version shown in a thread here ...

I'd love it to be Melbourne, but that cutting says "Australia"

I read it ONLINE, as I said....not in the magazine itself, or a page from it. There is (was?) an online version...I will try and find it

Emirates flight 5010 to Melbourne was slightly delayed and left about the same time as EK440.

What do we know of the location of the other 3 guys?

Where the hell are the papparazi, or at least the iorr.org fanatics when we need solid info?

I'm not a (scum) papparazi, but I'm only 15 mins from the airport in Melbourne... Keen to rush there if I know that's where they will be!

If I wasn't knackered from work I'd shoot over to Adelaide Airport but lacking real info beyond our speculation it's a bit of a chore.
The Stones do very well in keeping these things from the media, understandably.

So, has anyone picked up any evidence anywhere that The Stones actually travelled last night?

Indirectly, tour related activity on the Twitter feed and Facebook may be a pointer.

Anyone?

(I got fascinated watchng one of the possible flights on flightradar24.com last evening and learnt that the landing speed of an A380 is as low as 115kmph! My car can go faster than that!!)

It's all clear skies with warm Spring temperatures for The Stones arrival in Australia and New Zealand smileys with beer

You are obviously NOT posting from Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide.

It's bloody freezing in Melbourne at the moment (15.6 at this typing) - and will be until the weekend.

Wait until next week when it warms up again in SE Australia.....!

Hey Captain Corella are you heading out to Melb airport to confirm whether there is a Stones tongue parked out there?

If I can find any more evidence that they are indeed in town then I may well pop down there with my trusty binoculars and a camera with a good telephoto lens. ie More evidence than one posting here by Deathgod.

I have tried finding out - I've watched, and looked at, many flight movements on this site [webtrak5.bksv.com] but none are obviously 'Charter'. I may of course have missed the obvious.
